       'Reconnecting At-Risk Youth' research project in the Department of Psychosocial & Community Health of the UW School of Nursing.—I used SPSS to read in and analyze data. I constructed scales from the data and tested the validity of the scales. I ran multiple regressions, anovas, t-tests, and other operations on the data, and wrote summaries of my findings. I also organized both the hard copies (paper questionnaires) and the computer files of the data.

  • Html and secure cgi scripts in Perl. I have created several on-line questionnaires for both research and commercial data collection, which allow the data to be easily imported to a spreadsheet or database.
  • Input/output devices of various kinds, including digital cameras, scanners, still-frame acquisition using video cameras, plotters, lcd screens for overhead projection, and equipment for digitizing architectural or cartographic information.
